A systematic review comparing cardiovascular disease among informal carers and non-carers

This publication explores cardiovascular disease in individuals in informal caring roles. The study explored cardiovascular disease incidents in carers and non-carers, finding that overall there was no increased incidence of cardiovascular disease among carers when compared to non-carers.

This study investigated carer involvement when a care recipient is in hospital. Specifically, the study looked at the experience of carers of adult patients and how they contributed to the safety of the care recipient while they were in hospital.
