This article explore the experiences of carers of mentally ill Iraqi refugees. Carers who were involved in this study felt isolated, which was exacerbated by their culture-bound obligations and stigma.

A systematic review comparing cardiovascular disease among informal carers and non-carers

This publication explores cardiovascular disease in individuals in informal caring roles. The study explored cardiovascular disease incidents in carers and non-carers, finding that overall there was no increased incidence of cardiovascular disease among carers when compared to non-carers.
