Long Summary

This book chapter uses excerpts of lived experience to illustrate formal and informal eldercare. Recognising that Australia and New Zealand have ageing populations, the chapter draws attention to the importance of investigating how challenges relating to eldercare responsibilities will be managed in the future. The chapter advocates for employment practices that allow carers to carry out caring responsibilities around their paid employment.
